Joseph ‘Gene’ Hartman of Fort Worth


Joseph Eugene “Gene” Hartman, 72, of Fort Worth, formerly of Henrietta, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Henrietta. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.

Mr. Hartman was born Nov. 29, 1942 in Chicago, Ill., to Joseph and Dorothy Hartman. Mr. Hartman was a retired chef and a volunteer cook for many organizations including the Henrietta Volunteer Fire Department.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Lilah.

Survivors include three daughters, Lisa Martinez and husband Manuel of Fort Worth, Gloria Starkey and husband Matthew of Fort Worth, and Toni Holmes and husband Allen of Dallas; one son, Ron Kocurek and wife Pam of Fort Worth; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
