Kathie Slaughter

Ms. Slaughter was born March 22, 1949 in Clay County to R.W. and Louise Slaughter, but lived most of her life in Lead Hill, Ark., where she moved with her parents and little sister, Ann in 1967. She attended the School of New Hope in Yellville, Ark., for many years.  In 2007 she moved to Hot Springs where she remained until her death. She loved anything red, pizza and beer, having her hair and nails done, and dresses. To her friends and family, money will forever be “green dollars” to us due to their dear “Katfish”.

She is preceded in death by her parents, R.W. Slaughter and Louise Slaughter.

Survivors include her sisters and brothers-in-law, Kay and Larry Frazer of Hot Springs Village, Ark., and Ann and Robert Smith of Jonesboro, Ark.
