Edna Wuensche, 99, of Henrietta, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11 at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Henrietta with Rev. Howard Walker, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Ringgold Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Mrs. Wuensche was born Oct. 23, 1915 in Ringgold to Cecil and Henrietta Mathilda (Denke) Reynolds. She married Alvin Wuensche on Nov. 4, 1933 in Henrietta. Mrs. Wuensche was a member of the Ringgold Baptist Church and retired from Piccadilly Cafeteria in Wichita Falls. She and husband Alvin were celebrated as the oldest married couple in Clay County for several years during the Pioneer Reunion.

Mrs. Wuensche was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Wuensche; a son, Robert Clyde Wuensche; a sister, Melba Reynolds; and a brother, Lawrence Jack Reynolds.

Survivors include one sister, Katie Damme-Hughes of Tye; a brother, C.B. Reynolds of Amarillo; one grandson, Alvin Earl Wuensche of Henrietta; one granddaughter, Brenda Kay Smith of Henderson; 11 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will be at Davis Funeral Home from 6-7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10.
