Donnie Earl Eanes, 70, of Henrietta, passed away Monday, Nov. 24, 2014.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26 at Christ Gospel Church with Rev. Ken Matthews, officiating. Interment will follow at Hope Cemetery in Henrietta under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Mr. Eanes was born July 26, 1944 in Crosbyton to Thomas Lee and Lita (Harnsberger) Eanes. He retired from Wichita Falls State Hospital where he worked for more than 20 years. He was a member of Christ Gospel Church, and a member of AARP. Donnie enjoyed going to church, reading scriptures from the Bible, woodwork, tinkering with old trucks and having lunch every Wednesday with the guys.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lee Eanes; his mother, Lita Keen; his wife, Pamela Eanes; two sons, Johnny Eanes and Jason Eanes; and two grandchildren, Brayden and Caleb Eanes.

Survivors include a daughter, Kellie Miller and husband Steve of Henrietta; a son, Thomas Eanes of Wichita Falls; two brothers and two sisters, Jearl Eanes and wife Patricia of Henrietta, Linda Stewart and husband Thurmon of Denton, Richard Keen and wife Teena of Henrietta, and Pamela Woodruff and husband Tom of Michigan; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6- 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
