“A photo is worth a thousand words.” Have you taken an outstanding photo that speaks volumes about Clay County?

Entry in the fourth annual Clay County Outdoors magazine photo contest is now open and submissions. Deadline for submissions is Nov. 23. Readers of The Pioneer Sentinel will be asked to choose their favorite photos by voting Nov. 24 through Nov. 30. Winners will be announced Dec. 1.

The contest again will be divided into adult (17 and older) and youth (16 and younger) divisions. The subject of the photo must be of a person, place, event or scenery associated with Clay County, Texas.

Winners of the contest will be featured inside the 2015 edition of the Clay County Outdoors magazine, published by the Henrietta and Clay County Chamber of Commerce.

Digital photos must be submitted as high-resolution originals in no smaller than 775-by-1,000 pixels, and as a .jpeg file. Photos from almost all digital cameras will meet the requirement, but cell phone cameras most likely will not.
