Freddy B. Wiest of Wichita Falls


Freddy B. Wiest, 69, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Monday, Aug. 11, 2014.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14 at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Henrietta with Rev. Robert Fletcher, pastor of the Henrietta Church of God, officiating. Burial will be in Charlie Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Mr. Wiest was born Jan. 31, 1945 in the Riverland Community of Clay County to Willie George and Freda (Bitz) Wiest. He worked as a printer for Humphrey Printing for 38 years and served in the National Guard.

Survivors include two sons, Blake Wiest of Henrietta, and Lathan Keath of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Amber Rush of Burkburnett; three brothers, Bruce Wiest of Byers, Jimmy Wiest of Wichita Falls, and Johnny Wiest of Breckenridge; three sisters, Dorothy Van Speybroeck of Iowa Park, Olga Perkins of Henrietta, and Cathy Lenards of Waurika, Okla.; and seven grandchildren.

The family will be at Davis Funeral Home from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
