Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13 at the First Baptist Church in Ryan, Okla., with Pastor Steven Spangler officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date in Ringgold.

Mr. Robertson was born June 15, 1944 to Roscoe and Martha Jayne (Watts) Roberson. He graduated from Ryan High School in 1962, after lettering all four years in basketball, football and track. He served in the U.S. Army from 1964-1966. He met and married Pamela Kay King in 1968. Weldon was a licensed journeyman plumber for more than 40 years. He retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as maintenance supervisor at the Allred Unit, and as a mechanical contractor for Airco in 2010. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Masonic Lodge 454.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Martha Jayne Roberson.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra (Kramer) Roberson; a son, Travis Roberson and his wife Brandi of Melissa; two daughters, Wendi Dunlap and husband Rian of Burkburnett, and Kayce Ashley and husband Cy of Henrietta; on step-daughter, Carissa Wright and husband Kyle of  Grapevine; a sister, Linda Griffin and husband Bill of Ryan, Okla.; a brother Bill M. Roberson and wife Debbie of Ryan, Okla.; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. The family will receive visitors from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
