Helen Ruth Patrick of Petrolia


Helen Ruth VanWinkle Patrick, 93, of Petrolia, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2014.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 20 at the Petrolia Cemetery Chapel with Robert VanWinkle of Sulphur Springs officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Mrs. Patrick was born Feb. 17, 1921 in Petrolia to Ben H. and Myrtle Jane (Fultz) VanWinkle. She married Raymond Patrick on July 25, 1942 in Walters, Okla. Mrs. Patrick was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Petrolia. She was the last surviving child of Ben and Myrtle.

She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 1982, and six brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca Jane Patrick of Wichita Falls; a son, Joe Ben Patrick of Petrolia; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
