Petrolia man charged in Wichita Falls for sexual assault of children

Kenneth James Corey of Petrolia has been charged with on counts of aggravated sexual assault involving two juvenile girls at a Wichita Falls residence.

Corey remains in the Wichita County jail. He was arrested and charged June 30 following a months-long investigation. Bond is set at $125,000 per charge, totaling $500,000.

During a forensic interview at Patsy’s House Child Advocacy Center, the two girls, ages 7 and 8 at the time of the alleged incidents, stated that they had been fondled and forced to commit sexual acts by Corey on multiple occasions from February to July 2013. Parents of the children contacted police in October after hearing comments from the girls that they believed to be too advanced for the victims’ age.

Investigators believe Corey assaulted the girls while they were in his care at a Wichita Falls residence. Corey was living in the home and watched the children as often as three times a week.

Corey did not complete a polygraph test, during which he said statements made by the girls were false, and refused to take a second test.
