Three Henrietta FFA members joined more than 150 participants from across the region at this year’s Area IV FFA Leadership Conference held in Brownwood June 24-25.

Henrietta chapter members attending were Macey Baber, Josey Cleveland and Conner Chambers.

The conference is the summer’s largest student-lead leadership training experience conducted by the Area IV FFA Association. Conference training and breakout session were organized and presented by 2014-2015 Area IV officer team.

Following this year’s theme “The Hunger Games”, conference participants focused on developing their personal strengths and goals and participated in comprehensive leadership training that will help them guide their local FFA chapters in the future. Henrietta FFA members also had time to do initial planning for possible activities that can be beneficial in promoting agriculture and community development in the local area.

The Henrietta FFA is a local chapter of the National FFA Organization and a proud part of the Area IV and Texas FFA associations. For more information about the Henrietta FFA and the Texas FFA association, visit www.henrietta.ffanow.org or mytexasffa.org.
