Harold Lee of Rockwall


Harold Lee, 90, of Rockwall, formerly of Henrietta, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2014.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 21 at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Henrietta with Rev. Randy Osborn, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Henrietta, officiating and Rev. Jim Moses, Minister of Music at the First Baptist Church of Henrietta, assisting. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.

Mr. Lee was born Oct. 26, 1923 in Spanish Fort to William Harrison and Idella (Bouldin) Lee. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. Lee married Jo Vanderburg on April 18, 1943 in Houston and they were married for 71 years. He was a rancher and a member of the First Baptist Church of Henrietta.

Mr. Lee was preceded in death by four siblings.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Lee of Rockwall; a daughter, Carol Russell of Lewisville; a son, Steven Lee and wife Neva of Rowlett; four grandsons, two great-granddaughters and one great-grandson.
