Grand jury hands 10 indictments

A Clay County grand jury handed down 10 indictments on Monday, June 16, including one that will remain sealed until the defendant is in custody.

Colby Patrick Baldwin — Possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 2, in an amount of less than 1 gram, a state jail felony, for an Aug. 15 offense. Bond was set at $15,000.

Anthony Jay Cannon — Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony, for an April 29 offense. Bond was set at $50,000.

Adam Randall Chumley — Possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 2, in an amount more than 4 grams, less than 400 grams, a second-degree felony, for a June 6, 2013 offense. Bond was set at $10,000.

Bryan Elliott Jester — Possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 2, less than 1 gram, a state jail felony, for an Aug. 13 offense. Bond was set at $1,500.

Ceasar Munoz — Assault family violence – choking, a third-degree felony, for a Dec. 18 offense. Bond was set at $15,000.

Justin Darrell Newman — Possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, cocaine, in an amount of more than 1 gram, less than 4 grams, a third-degree felony, for a Sept. 21 offense. Bond was set at $10,000.

Justin Darrell Newman — Possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 2, Methylone, in an amount of more than 1 gram, less than 4 grams, a third-degree felony, for a Sept. 21 offense. Bond was set at $10,000.

Ryan Curtis Teall — Theft of property, more than $1,500, less than $20,000, a state jail felony, for an April 4 offense. Bond was set at $10,000.

Charles Edward Walker — Unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, a third-degree felony, for a May 8 offense. Bond was set at $10,000.
