Youth invited to participate in county cup cake challenge

All youth — boys and girls, ages 8 to 18 — are welcome to participate in the first Clay County Cupcake Challenge on Wednesday, June 25.  The event is similar to the Cupcake Wars as seen on the Food Network.

Participants will leave the extension office at 9 a.m. for a tour of A Heavenly Cake, a bakery in Wichita Falls. Participants will eat lunch in Wichita Falls. They are required to bring money for lunch.

After lunch, participants they will travel back to the extension office, pick up their cupcakes and go to Stewart’s Sweet Stop in Henrietta for the cupcake war.
