Bellevue High School Class of 2014


Kayla Specht graduates as valedictorian of the Bellevue Class of 2014. James Mangus is salutatorian.

Belleuve ISD will hold commencement exercises at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 30 in the school auditorium.

Specht plans to attend West Texas A&M in the fall with a dual major in criminal justice and theater design with a focus on costume design. Her chosen career path is costume designer. She is the daughter of Bruce and Shelley Specht of Vashti, and the late Debbie Specht.

While attending Bellevue High School, Specht served as Bellevue Chapter vice president of the National Honor Society, Bellevue FFA Chapter vice president, and won the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award. She has been involved in theater, basketball, book club and student council.

Mangus plans to attend ITT Technical Institute, majoring in drafting and design, and has chosen tattoo artist as possible career field. He is the son of Rob and Lori Mangus of Bellevue.

While at Bellevue High School, Mangus has been involved in National Honor Society, one act play and yearbook.

Graduating members of the Bellevue Class of 2014 are Emily Barnett, Matthew Belcher, Bryson Booker, Amy Cambre, Brandt Cassetty, James Mangus (salutatorian), William Mendez, Ashley Parr, Kayla Specht (valedictorian), Madison Terry, Destiny Watkins, Shelby Watkins and Cassidy York.
