Area law enforcement are searching for a man identified by the Wichita Falls Police Department as James Donald Kreidler, wanted for the abduction of a woman from a Wichita Falls apartment complex.

Kreidler is believed to be armed with a gun and dangerous. He is described as a 51-year-old white male wearing a blue shirt with American flag and bluejeans. He could be wearing a camouflage cap and has a beard.
According to a statement from the Wichita Falls PD, the victim was abducted from Monday morning from her apartment in the 3900 block of Barnett Road in Wichita Falls and taken into another county, where she was able to escape. The woman is now safe. According to the WFPD, the victim knows Kreidler.
The Clay County and Archer County sheriff’s offices have been involved in the search for Kreidler. Following the abduction, he was seen on FM 1954 driving toward Arrowhead Ranch Estates in a silver four-door car. The victim was lated found at a business on Hwy. 281 in Archer County, and the car found abandoned.
The WFPD urges anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kreidler to contact the department at (940) 720-5000 or 911, but do not try to approach him.
