Clay County was well represented during the Texas Rangers game at Globe Life Park in Arlington April 18.
“One Voice” a woman’s quartet from Henrietta once again sang the National Anthem, while 10-year-old Grady Jones of Dean delivered the game ball to the pitcher’s mound.
“One Voice” members Diane Hanson, Laurie Schaffner, Penny Riordan and Laura Lee Brock, all of Henrietta, first sang for the Rangers game during the 2013 season and were invited by the Texas Rangers to return for the 2014 season.
“It was exciting to sing last year, but to be invited back, was really an honor,” said Brock.
One Voice has been together as a group since 2006. The group has presented the National Anthem at various functions including 2013 Oil Bowl, Northwest Texas Council Eagle ceremonies and dinner events, Clay County Pioneer Reunion, Laseman Fun Run, Troop 91 Flag Retirement and Eagle Ceremonies, as well as the Texas State Guard ceremonies.
Grady is the son of Joseph and Jackie Jones of Dean, and the grandson of Jake and Ann Jones of Vashti. He attends school at Cunningham Elementary in Wichita Falls.
Attendance for the evening numbered more than 40,000.

Hey there, You’ve done an excellent job. I will definitely digg it and personally
recommend to my friends. I am confident they’ll be benefited from this web site.
There’s definately a lot to find out about this topic. I really like all of the points you made.
Hi! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering
if you knew where I could get a captcha plugin for my comment form?
I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having difficulty finding one?
Thanks a lot!
I couldn’t resist commenting. Very well written!
I was curious if you ever considered changing the page layout of
your site? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect
with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only
having 1 or 2 images. Maybe you could space it out better?
Good info. Lucky me I found your blog by accident (stumbleupon).
I’ve saved as a favorite for later!
Hello there! Do you know if they make any plugins to help with SEO?
I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good success.
If you know of any please share. Thanks!
I got this site from my friend who shared with me concerning this site and now
this time I am visiting this website and reading very informative posts at this
place.
Hi, i think that i noticed you visited my blog so i came to go back the choose?.I’m attempting to in finding issues to improve my website!I assume
its good enough to make use of a few of your ideas!!
Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is fundamental and all.
But think of if you added some great pictures or video clips to give
your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics
and video clips, this site could definitely be one of the most beneficial in its field.
Great blog!
Hi! I’ve been following your website for some time now and finally got the bravery to go ahead and give you a
shout out from Humble Texas! Just wanted to mention keep up the great job!
Excellent way of explaining, and nice post
to obtain information about my presentation topic, which i am going to
convey in school.
Today, I went to the beach with my children. I
found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter
and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put
the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and
it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!
LoL I know this is completely off topic but I
had to tell someone!
I am curious to find out what blog platform you’re using?
I’m experiencing some small security problems with my latest website and I would like to find
something more safeguarded. Do you have any recommendations?
