Henrietta’s Scholl to continue basketball career at Midwestern State

Anni Scholl, a senior at Henrietta High School, has committed to play basketball for the Midwestern State University Lady Mustangs. Scholl signed a letter of intent Tuesday night while surrounded by friends and family.

Scholl has been a standout for the Lady Cats, breaking the 1,000 point mark in her high school career.

In her senior season with the Lady Cats, Scholl averaged 16.1 points, 10 rebounds, 3.12 assists and five steals per game.

Scholl earned first team all-district honors in 5-2A and was named to the Windthorst all-tournament team in her senior season, first team all-district and Lindsay all-tournament her junior season, and made second team all-district and the Lindsay all tournament team as a sophomore.

Scholl also excels in the classroom. In her senior season, she was awarded academic all-state honors by both the Texas Girls’ Coaches Association and the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches.

She is the daughter of Kevin and Traci Scholl of Henrietta.
