A Wichita Falls woman suffered life-threatening injuries in a single-vehicle accident in Dean Tuesday morning.

Yvonne Bryant, 69, of Wichita Falls, was traveling south on Hwy. 79 in a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer when her vehicle veered from the road and into a wheat field. The vehicle rolled over at least one time.

Dean-Dale and Jolly volunteer firefighters freed Bryant from the wreckage by removing the roof of the vehicle with the Jaws of Life. Bryant was taken by helicopter to United Regional hospital in Wichita Falls.

The accident occurred at about 7:15 a.m. approximately 200 yards north of Evans Road. As of 8:45 a.m., the cause of the accident had not been determined.

It was the second rollover accident in Dean in as many days. On Monday, a single-vehicle rollover between Weruk and Broday roads resulted in minor injuries.
