Hazel Fay Gill of Wichita Falls


Hazel Fay Gill, 99, of Wichita Falls, formally of Henrietta, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, April 11 in Hope Cemetery in Henrietta. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.
Mrs. Gill was born Sept. 1, 1914 in Montague County to Thomas Jefferson and Carrie Elizabeth (Lasater) Chisum. She married James Gill on Dec. 24, 1938 and he passed away in 1956. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Henrietta and was retired from several businesses, the last being the Henrietta Frozen Food Locker. Mrs. Gill loved flowers and spent most of her spare time working in her yard and garden.
Sheis preceded in death by her husband, James Gill; two brothers, Jeff and Clovis Chisum; and one sister, Marie Brooks.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
