Freddy Waggner of Petrolia


Fred “Freddy” Waggner, 71, of Petrolia, passed away on Tuesday, April 1.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5 at the First Baptist Church of Petrolia. Burial will be in the Petrolia Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Mr. Waggner was born June 7, 1942 in Petrolia to Robert and Alvina (Moser) Waggner. He retired from the Texas Highway Department and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Petrolia. Mr. Waggner served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include three daughters, Andrea Nickell and husband Ricky of Comanche, Okla., Lori Wooster and husband Doug of Wichita Falls, and Dana Polly and husband Greg of Iowa Park; a son, Michael Waggner of Duncan, Okla.; a sister, Debra Simmons and husband Johnny of Petrolia; a brother, Robert Carl Waggner of Petrolia; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family will be at Davis Funeral Home from from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday.
