Kamryn Weaver added a pair of gold medals to her collection at Electra Thursday, placing first in the 100-meter hurdles and 400 dash and leading the Lady Cats to second place in the team standings with 99.5 points.
Weaver ran the 100 hurdles in 16.5 seconds, followed by teammate Kenzie Kirk with a 16.67 finish for third place. Weaver ran the 400 in 61.2, while teammate Addie McDonnell placed sixth with a time of 70.7.
Henrietta’s 800 and 1,600 relay teams took second place. In the 800 relay, Hollie Thomas, Callie Page, Kirk and Joyana Zamzow finished with a time of 1:53.4. The 1,600 really team of Thomas, Kirk, Zamzow and Weaver finished in 4:26.0.
Sierra Burkhart took bronze in the high jump with a leap of 4 feet, 10 inches, while Zamzow placed third in long jump with 14-3.5, followed by Kirk in fourth with 14-2.75.
Lacey Webb finished the 200 dash in third place with a time of 29.1, followed by Page in fifth with 29.3.
Page finished fourth in the 100 dash with a time of 13.26. Webb was fifth with 13.41.
Zamzow finished fourth in the 300 hurdles with a time of 51.77.
Ben McCreary gave the varsity Bearcats their best finish of the day, leaping 19-3.75 in the long jump for second place.
The 1,600 relay team of Mason Hanson, McCreary, Jameson Dowell and Riley Watson placed third with a time of 3:45.2. The 400 really team of Landon Davis, McCreary, Dowell and Leo Hunter took fourth with a time of 45.81. The foursome fifth in the 800 relay with a time of 1:38.8.
Davis finished fourth in the 200 dash with a time of 24.62. Turner Gibbs took fifth place in shot put with a distance of 40-8.
Henrietta’s JV boys took sixth place overall, led by Austen Broussard with a first place finish in the 110 hurdles. Broussard finished the race with a time of 18.96.
Dellen Koetter finished second in the 400 dash with a time of 59.12, and fourth in the 200 with 25.52.
Josh Lyde ran the 300 hurdles in 52.52 seconds for third place. Blaine Long took fourth in the 800 with a time of 2:22, while teammate Reed Latham finished fourth in the 100 with a time of 11.88.
Broussard placed fifth in shot put with a throw of 36-4, while Sterling Headrick finished sixth in discus with 95-2.5.
