Henrietta man struck by train, airlifted to hospital

A Henrietta man was airlifted to a Wichita Falls with serious injuries Saturday after a train struck his four-wheeler.

Kerry Hodges, 35, suffered a broken leg and arm and lacerations to his head, as well as other possible injuries. The accident occurred on the South Hancock Street railroad crossing at about 12:45 p.m.

The impact threw the ATV approximately 30 yards into a ditch along the south side of the railroad tracks.

Editor’s note: The driver of the four-wheeler was misidentified in the original version of the article. We regret the error and any confusion it may have caused.
