Deborah June Johnson was traveling south on Hwy. 287 in a late model Kia passenger car when she reportedly fell asleep. DPS Trooper Harley Rosenberger said Johnson’s vehicle left the highway at a curve near the Hwy. 82 exit into Henrietta and crossed Myers Road, where it the drove up the railroad embankment and onto the tracks.

The accident, reported at 9:36 p.m., caused Burlington Northern Santa Fe to stop train traffic until the vehicle could be cleared from the tracks.
