Bluegrove man dies in Jack County auto accident

A Clay County businessman died in a single-vehicle rollover Friday morning in Jack County.

Clifford E. Swenson, 61, of Bluegrove, was pronounced dead at the scene after he was ejected from the vehicle.  According to the Jack County Herald, Swenson was not wearing a seatbelt.

The accident occurred just after 11 a.m. Swenson was traveling south in a late model Dodge wrecker on Hwy. 148 when the vehicle left the road three miles north of Jacksboro and rolled into the southbound ditch. Accident investigators believe Swenson was texting at the time of the accident, The Herald reported.
