Petrolia students ‘Make a Difference’ at 1890 Jail Museum

Students from Petrolia ISD participated in Teens Make a Difference, a day set aside each year by the Non-Profit Center of Wichita Falls to assist area non-profit organizations with projects for the benefit of the community, Saturday, Oct. 26.

Ryan Lemond, Gracie Linton, Krista King, Nicole Garner and Melissa Garner helped volunteers at the Clay County 1890 Jail Museum and Heritage Center prepare holiday displays by moving, unpacking and hanging Christmas decorations.

The group worked through the morning, before attending a rally for all area teens participating. During the rally organized announced that approximately 2,100 teens had completed projects throughout the Wichita Falls area.
