Bellevue Students earn Exemplary Eagle, Shark award

Haylee Love and Grifyn Ogle

Haylee Love, Grifyn Ogle and James Mangus have been honored by Bellevue ISD for their efforts in the first six weeks grading period.

Love earned the Exemplary Eagle award for students in Kindergarten through second grade, while Ogle was named Exemplary Eagle for grades 3-5. The Exemplary Eagle award is given to elementary students who show character traits such as integrity, punctuality, honor and diligence.

Mangus received the first six weeks Shark award, given to junior high and high school students who show characteristics of the “Shark, “ individuals who establish themselves as leaders among their peers.

Recipients of the awards are nominated by teachers, fellow classmates or parents.
