
Henrietta FFA scramblers compete during Thursday night’s performance of the Pioneer Reunion Rodeo. Henrietta won the overall FFA Calf Scramble title.
The Clay County Pioneer Reunion Rodeo paid out more than $22,000 in winnings over three performances Sept. 19, 20 and 21, including $499 to Skee Burkes of Henrietta, who took second place in ranch bronc.

FFA Calf Scramble
Henrietta was the overall winner in the FFA Calf Scramble, followed by Petrolia in second, Bellevue in third and Midway in fourth place.
Henrietta earned the 2013 title with first place finishes Thursday and Saturday nights, and a third place finish Friday night. Petrolia took second in all three performances, while Bellevue won Friday night and took third place Thursday and Saturday. Midway finished fourth all three nights.
Mutton Busting
Corbin Flynn of Wichita Falls won Thursday night’s mutton busting competition, while Cooper Coleman of Henrietta won Friday’s event and Tucker Spivey of Joy won Saturday night.
Kid Calf Scramble
Kid calf scramble winner on Thursday night were Dylan Overstreet, Cutter Freely and Jaley Fenoglio, all of Henrietta. Friday’s winners were Braden of Nocona, Darius Stewart of Henrietta and Cooper Watson of Henrietta. Saturday’s winners were Cooper Watson of Henrietta, Zack Reed of Burnet and Graham Gonzenbach of Ringgold.
Boot Drawing
Becky Atkins of Henrietta won a pair of boots from Waggoner’s Boot Center in Thursday night’s boot drawing. Zeb Mayo of Deer Creek won a pair from The Browse Shop on Friday and Stacy Mason of Greenville won a pair of Montague Boot Company boots on Saturday.
