James ‘Red’ Perkins of Henrietta


James “Red” Darrell Perkins, 72, of Henrietta, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23 at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Henrietta. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Mr. Perkins was born Nov. 22, 1940 in Buffalo Springs to J.T. and Bula (Bragg) Perkins. He was a self employed welder and a member of the First Baptist Church of Henrietta.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include two daughters, Jamie Wilkinson and husband Steve of Wichita Falls, and Robin Perkins of Wichita Falls; and one granddaughter.

The family will be at Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. until service time for visitation.
