Bearcat, Lady Cat cross country runners dominate Henrietta Invitational

Lady Cats Tee Lee Cook, Kaci Williams, Marisa Rodriguez, Leah Bullinger and Isabella Garcia earned the team title in the junior high girls race at the Henrietta Invitational Oct. 5.

Henrietta’s cross country teams came out on top in three of the six races held during the school’s cross country invitational Oct. 5 at Hapgood Park.

Lady Cat Casey Gill led the varsity girls to a title in the two-mile course, while Gretchen Bluhm set the pace in the JV Girls run for Henrietta. Henrietta junior high girls also won a championship, led by Leak Bullinger.

Midway, led by Logan Harper’s first place individual finish, won the varsity boys 5K race. Petrolia earned the junior high boys title, led by Hunter Baker in fourth place. Daniel Wimberley of Henrietta set the pace to take first in the individual standings.

First, Casey Gill, Henrietta, 15:51; second, Brooke Hoff, Henrietta, 15:57; third, Krystal Cook, Henrietta, 16:37; fourth, Cassidy Mass, Midway,              17:14; fifth, Kelton Matthews, Henrietta, 17:35; sixth, Becca Riggins, Henrietta, 17:38; seventh, Kaitlyn Horn, Midway, 17:44.

Jr. Varsity Girls 2 Mile

First, Gretchen Bluhm, Henrietta, 17:40; second, Adeline McDonnell, Henrietta, 18:56; third, Sara Mayes, Henrietta, 18:57.

Varsity Boys 5K 

First, Logan Harper, Midway, 18:56; second, Grant Richardson, Wichita Christian, 20:51; third, Tristan Franke, Midway, 20:58; fourth, Kevin Bluhm, Henrietta, 21:18; fifth, Triston Rodgers, Henrietta, 25:08; sixth, Justin Stone, Henrietta,  25:23; seventh, Adam Schobert, Midway, 25:25.

Jr. Varisity Boys 5K

First, Logan Pipes, Wichita Christian, 29:43.

But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two images. Maybe you could space it out better?
