Nell Bouldin of Stanfield


Nell Bouldin, 80, of the Stanfield Community, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2 at the First Baptist Church of Henrietta with Rev. Randy Osborn, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Nocona Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Mrs. Bouldin was born on Aug. 25, 1933 in Ringgold to Durward and Mae (Duff) Williamson. In 1951 she was a Southern Bell in Henrietta. She graduated from Gold-Burg High School in May of 1951 and married Paul Bouldin on Aug. 25, 1951 in Henrietta. Mrs. Bouldin was a member of the First Baptist Church of Henrietta and served as a past president of the Junior Women’s League. She was a past board member of the Clay County Memorial Hospital and served on the Clay County Pioneer Reunion float theme committee. Mrs. Bouldin was a homemaker and a telephone operator for Bell Telephone.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Wade Bouldin.

Survivors include one son, Mike Bouldin and wife Candy of Wichita Falls; two daughters, Pam Roberson and husband Mike of Henrietta, and Paula Matlock and husband David of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Joann Harris of Azle, and Betty Jones of Nocona; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will be at Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, Oct. 1 from 6-7 p.m.
