Dessie Elledge was crowned Petrolia homecoming queen Friday night.

Dessie Elledge was crowned Petrolia homecoming queen Friday night.

Dessie Elledge was crowned Petrolia High School homecoming queen during a ceremony prior to Friday’s Pirate football game against Windthorst.

The senior was selected from a field of four candidates, including Abby Anderson, Katie Cummings and Kirsten Kenyon. Escorting Anderson was Zack Baker. Dustin Hanusch escorted Cummings and Tanner Welch escorted Kenyon.

Jacob Dove escorted Elledge. She is the daughter of Beaver and Gail Elledge.
