Michael Sanderson of Henrietta succeeds Doug Vicars of Friendship as chairman of the Nine Man Board.

Nine Man Board Chairman Doug Vicars stepped down Monday night as members elected Michael Sanderson his replacement. Vicars, of Friendship, completed his second three-year term on the board.

Sanderson, of Henrietta, is serving his second three-year term on the Nine Man Board, and will continue as chairman through the 83rd Pioneer Reunion and Rodeo set for Sept. 18-20, 2014.

Vice Chairman Ross Cantrell of Vashti and Arena Director Trey Mobley of Dean also wrapped up terms during Monday’s business meeting. Sanderson appointed E.C. Crump of Terrapin Flats as vice chairman and Jeff Jordan of Petrolia as arena director.

Beginning the second year of their terms are Scot Graham of Secret Springs, Weldon Craig of Byers and Bob Wuthrich of Fairview. New members are Keith Henry of Dean, Mitchell Brown of Dick Worsham and Coye Cody of Cambridge.
