Guy Conrad Scholl of Henrietta


Guy Conrad Scholl, 79, of Henrietta, passed away Sunday Sept. 15, 2013, in Wichita Falls.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18 at the First United Methodist Church of Henrietta with Dr. Rusty Hedges officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn’s Colonial Funeral Home.

Mr. Scholl was born June 19, 1934 to Harold Verle and Pat Scholl. He graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1952. He served in the Marine Corps for three years and was stationed in Japan during his tenure with the service. He started his career in the oil business from the ground up, and spent much of his life involved as a geologist but could easily do most anything when needed. He married his college sweetheart, Yvonne Clearman, in 1976.

He is preceded in death by his a sister, Kay Stanberry, and brothers Mike, Mack, and Jack Scholl.

Survivors include his wife, Yvonne; four children, Kevin Scholl and wife Traci of Henrietta, Shawn Scholl, Barry Knight and wife Karen, and Molly Marchman; two sisters, Judy Malone and husband Phillip, and Sandy Armstrong; a brother, H.V. Scholl; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
