Since 1971, the Henrietta and Clay County Chamber of Commerce has sponsored the sale of souvenir buttons for the Clay County Pioneer Reunion. Each button, except for the first few, feature a design unique to the year.

The button design for 2013 reflects this year’s parade theme “Let’s Sing Along With Children’s Songs,” and features a 1950’s style toy guitar on a denim background. The guitar is decorated with a wagon train and the phrase “Sing Along Songs.”

Buttons are available for $1 each at the chamber office, First National Bank of Byers (Byers and Henrietta), Wells Fargo and Legend Bank, as well as other locations in downtown Henrietta.

Collecting Pioneer Reunion buttons has become a tradition in Clay County. Collectors who are missing one or more years can contact the chamber of commerce at (940) 538-5261 to see if designs from past years are available.
