Henrietta sports fans ‘Meet the Cats’ as fall activities get underway

Henrietta sports fans filled Bearcat Stadium Friday night for the All-Sports Club’s annual Meet the ‘Cats event.

Varsity and junior varsity athletes in football, volleyball and cross country, Henrietta High School’s varsity cheerleaders, The Crew, and the Bearcat marching band were introduced to fans.

The fall sports season began for Henrietta Friday with the varsity volleyball team competing in the Cool in Boomtown tournament in Burkburnett. On Saturday, Henrietta’s varsity football team scrimmaged Seymour.

Henrietta’s cross country season begins Aug. 29 with a meet at the Perkins Scout Camp in Burkburnett.
