Jurni Nicol Flickinger, 10, of Wichita Falls, passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2013.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 at Evangel Temple Church of Wichita Falls with Rev. Gary Riley, officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Jurni was born Jan. 31, 2003 in Wichita Falls to Cody and Carrie (Gee) Flickinger. She attended school at Henrietta Elementary School. Jurni was on the cheerleading squad for the Chargers, and played volleyball thru the Boys and Girls Club. She enjoyed swimming, skating, singing and dancing, and playing in granny’s make-up bag.

She is preceded in death by two grandfathers, Gary Gee and Roy Lawson; and her great-grandparents, Elgar and Ola Mae Fugett, and Hershel Gee.

Survivors inlcude her parents, Cody and Carrie Flickinger; her brother and sisters, Cody Gary Wayne Flickinger, Jadyn Rae Flickinger, Jocln Claire Flickinger, and Bethany Rashell Seitz and James Lynn Davis; her grandparents, Tina Marie and Melvin Allan Armstrong of Wichita Falls, Tracey Michelle Kirkland and Jimmy Ball of Runaway Bay, and Debra Sue Sutton of Wichita Falls; her great-grandparents, Clara Gee and Walter Ingle of Wichita Falls, LaNelle and Burl Kirkland of Hot Springs, Ark., and Rebecca Sue and Jerry Pinson of Wichita Falls.

The family will be at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12.
