A Wichita Falls man was killed in a single-vehicle accident west of Henrietta early Sunday morning.

David Randolph Wyatt, 46, of Wichita Falls, was riding a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle west on Hwy. 82 when the accident occurred. DPS Trooper Zach Ward said Wyatt entered the exit ramp connecting northbound Hwy. 287 and eastbound Hwy. 82 at the Gainesville overpass.

The exit ramp makes a sharp curve, at which point Wyatt lost control of the motorcycle. He was discovered in the grass median between the westbound Hwy. 82 lanes and the eastbound exit ramp.

The accident was discovered by a motorist, and reported at 3:55 a.m. Wyatt was not wearing a helmet.
