Katherine Dosier Haddox of Henrietta


Katherine Dosier Haddox, 87, of Henrietta, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, July 1 at First Baptist Church of Henrietta with Rev. Randy Osborn, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Mrs. Haddox was born on Feb. 17, 1925 in Direct, Texas, to Earl Bob and Myrtle (Johnson) Dosier. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of the First Baptist Church of Henrietta.

She is preceded in death by one daughter, Pamela K. Webb; and one brother, Aubrey Dosier.

Survivors include five sons, Billy W. Adams of Clarksville, Bobby E. Haddox of Soldotna, Alaska, James A. Haddox of Cooper, Edward G. Haddox and wife Deanna of Newark, and Lonny R. Haddox and wife Nita of Charleston, S.C.; five daughters, Patsy H. Davis of Fort Worth, Margie H. Norman of Springtown, Carolyn H. Duke of Henrietta, Linda Haddox-South of Fort Worth, and Mary Ann H. Goode and husband Bart of West; three sisters, Melba J. Dempsey of Flint, Mich., Gladys Orrell of Wichita Falls, and Jill Jackson and husband Jack of Lubbock; two brothers, Bobby Joe Dosier of Weatherford, and Jack Dosier of Andrews; 25 grandchildren 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will be at Davis Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m.

Memorials can be made to the Clay County Senior Citizens Center, 216 N. Hancock St., Henrietta, Texas 76365.
