Lewis Lee Davis, 83, of Arlington, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 26 at the Laurel Land Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Worth with Rev. Bill Warren and Rev. Rubin Martinez officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Land Cemetery in Fort Worth under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Mr. Davis was born on Aug. 22, 1929 in Clay County to L.N. and Lura (Gilmore) Davis. He served in the U.S. Army and married Catherine Avant on Oct. 23, 1954 in Fort Worth. He was a retired supervisor for Dairy Pak where he worked for 35 years.

He is preceded in death by one brother, Albert Davis; and one sister, Lois Moore.

Survivors include wife Catherine Davis of Arlington; one daughter, Connie O’Daniel and husband Jim of Arlington; one son, Wayne Davis and wife Wanda of Fort Worth; three sisters, Aline Akin and husband Carl of Hewett, Patsy Fuller and husband Gerald of Wichita Falls, and Dorothy Simpson of Henrietta; three brothers, Frank Davis and wife Bettie of Amarillo, George Davis and wife Ann of Henrietta, and Doyle Davis and wife Mollie of Henrietta; and three grandchildren.

The family will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Mr. Davis will lie in state at Laurel Land Funeral Home from Tuesday, June 25, until time of service on Wednesday.
