Three plea to guilt


The 97th District Court accepted plea agreements Monday, June 17 from three defendants.

Lance Richard Zeigler — Possession of marijuana, more than 4 ounces, less than 5 pounds, a state jail felony, for a Feb. 26 offense. Zeigler was sentenced to four years deferred adjudication and place on community supervision, fined $2,500 and required to pay $140 in restitution.

Joe Bennett Willis — Driving while intoxicated, third or more offense, a third-degree felony, for a March 31 offense. Willis was sentenced to five years probation and fined $1,500.

Brian Paul Wilson — Burglary of a building, a state jail felony, for a Dec. 13 offense. Wilson was sentenced to 15 months in state jail. He is credited with 277 days served.
