Bucky Boyd Post holds Memorial Day ceremony, places flags at graves

Bucky Boyd Post 5401 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars held Memorial Day ceremonies at the Clay County War Memorial Monday morning.

Following the traditional ceremony, post members, women’s auxiliary, family and friends placed flags at the graves of veterans interred at Hope Cemetery in Henrietta.

Sean Roberts is commander of Bucky Boyd Post 5401. Quartermaster is John Story. Also participating in the ceremony were Lois Whitley of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary, Don Lavy, Randy Zamzow, and Dr. David Greer.
