
The Clay County 4-H Trap Shooting Team competed at the district meet in Iowa Park on Saturday, May 18. Fourteen 4-H members participated in the event.
Representing the Clay County 4-H, Gage Hunter earned Junior Division Top Shooter honors Saturday, May 18 at the District 3 Trap Shoot in Iowa Park.
Hunter lead Clay County’s junior three-man team, with Trace Arnold and Robby Story, to first place in the division.
Clay County’s intermediate and senior two-man teams also earned first place finishes. The intermediate two-man team is made up of Ethan Gregory and Garrett Tice, while the senior two-man team is Levi Hedrick and Leo Hunter.
Two three-man teams represented Clay County in the intermediate division. Garrett Brown, Corbin Cody and Daniel Wimberley took third place, while Adam Moore, Clay Streeter and Matthew Watson finished fourth.
