Dorothy Fay Mummert, 87, of Douglasville, Ga., formerly of Wichita Falls, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 25, at Hope Cemetery in Henrietta with Mr. Ray Pitts officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.
Mrs. Mummert was born Nov. 3, 1925 in Wichita Falls to Kimsey and Vivian (Ballard) Pitts. She married Finis F. Mummert, Jr. on Oct. 11, 1942 in Wichita Falls. She retired from the civil service at Shepherd Air Force Base, where she worked as the transportation manager. Mrs. Mummert was a member of the All Saints Episcopal Church of Wichita Falls.
Survivors include a daughter, Gladys Taylor and husband Paul of Douglasville, Ga.; six brothers, Bobby Pitts, C.T. Pitts, Johnny Pitts, Travis Pitts, Joe Pitts and Ray Pitts; two sisters, Rita Calhoun and Judy Nenasco; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will be at Davis Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday, May 25.
