The National Weather Service in Norman, Okla., has issued a TORNADO WARNING for northern Clay County, including Petrolia, Byers and surrounding communities until 4:30 p.m.
At approximately 3:24 p.m., the NWS detected a thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado four miles northwest of Petrolia. The storm is moving east at 20 miles per hour.
A severe thunderstorm has also been issued for north Clay County with dangerous lightning and heavy hail.
