Midway students earning high marks in the school’s Falcon Pride program spent a day at Lake Wichita Park playing disc golf and horseshoes.

Thirty-one high school and junior high students from Midway ISD loaded a bus and traveled to Lake Wichita Park in Wichita Falls recently for a day of disc golf and horseshoes.

The trip rewarded students for their efforts in Midway’s Falcon Pride program during the fourth and fifth six weeks grading periods. Falcon Pride is a way for teachers and staff to recognize students for academic achievement, good conduct and attendance.

Students attending the field trip were:

Seventh grade Sarah Campbell, Bryce Forester, Ethan Franke, Jordan Looney and Krystal Uselton.

Eighth grade Kaitlyn Horn, Cole Thorn, Austin Van Pelt and Sammi Morrow.

Ninth grade Mikayla Graham, Chance Horn, Adam Schobert and Ashleigh Thomas.

Tenth grade — Erin Armstrong, Larry Hilbers, Ashley Spearman, Rowdy Terry and Austin Thorn.

Eleventh grade Irene Farino Budino, Tristan Franke, Logan Harper, Cassidy Mass, Jorden Mass and Kasey Taylor.

Twelfth grade Ben Forester, Kelli Forester, Brent Jones, Racheal Keener, Breanna Merkel, Mark Nall and Brody Wilson.
