Mike Tucker of Charlie


Michael “Mike” Tucker, 50, of Charlie, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 3 at the Petrolia High School Auditorium with Rev. Rick Ergle of Cross Point Church in Melrose, Fla., officiating and Rev. Aaron Lyndsey, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Petrolia, assisting. Burial will be in the Charlie Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Mr. Tucker was born Nov. 19, 1962 in Henrietta to Jerry and Delores (McPherson) Tucker. He was a certified public accountant and a farmer. He married Sharon Hawkins on Sept. 29, 1985 in Charlie. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Petrolia. He was active in the Charlie Community, and served many years on the Petrolia ISD Board of Trustees.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Tucker of Charlie; one daughter, Loren Brock and husband Marcus of Charlie; two sons, Bryce Tucker and fiancé Samantha Nason of Charlie, and Tyler Tucker of Charlie; his parents, Jerry and Deloris Tucker of Charlie; and one brother, Mark Tucker of Knox City.

Memorials can be made to the Charlie Community Center, 7246 W. FM 171, Petrolia, Texas 76377.
