Rattlesnakes topic of chamber of commerce general membership meeting


Tammy Reece of Peyton’s Project, a rattlesnake education and research organization, will be the featured speaker at the Henrietta and Clay County Chamber of Commerce general membership meeting Wednesday, March 27.

The event begins at noon, and will take place at The Rock Barn, 100 E. Wichita St., Henrietta. A catered meal will be served for $8 per person.

Reece will tell the story of how personal tragedy evolved into creating a foundation focused on educating and enlightening the public about this venomous creature’s potential use in medical advancement. She will also speak about the dangers of rattlesnakes in the North Texas region.
