Thomas Eugene “Gene” Chesser, 39, and his daughter Jenna Noel Chesser, 3, of Arrowhead Ranch Estates, passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013.
Combined Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 5 at the Texoma Cowboy Church in Wichita Falls. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.
Gene was born March 21, 1973 in Dallas to Cecil Thomas Chesser and Cathy Jessica (Stokes) Latoski. His life revolved around his two daughters, whom he loved dearly. He was a third generation owner of Frank’s Transmission Shop for more than 10 years, and was a member of several car clubs.
Jenna was born Dec. 31, 2009 in Wichita Falls to Gene Chesser and JoVeda Dawn
(Harp) Wallar. She was a happy child who was so full of life, always laughing and
giggling. When upset, she never stayed mad long. She loved everybody she met and was loved by them. She recently learned to pray all by herself and would lead the dinner table in prayer each time they ate. Her dad was her life. They had an amazing bond between them and were impossible to separate.
They were members of Texoma Cowboy Church, where he would take her every time he possibly could.
Gene is preceded in death by his grandfather, Cecil Frank Chesser.
Jenna is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence Joseph Harp and Leveda Wanda Harp.
Gene is survived by one daughter, Ashlyn Chesser ofArrowhead Ranch Estates; parents, Tom and Vera Chesser all of Arrowhead Ranch Estates; mother, Cathy Jessica Latoski; loving friend, Rosemary Brown of Wichita Falls; grandmother, Marion Chesser of Iowa Park; grandmother, Joann Stokes of Cobble Hill, Canada; one brother, Jason Ryan Chesser and wife Renee of Houston.
Jenna is survived by her mother, JoVeda Wallar; a sister, Ashlyn Chesser; grandparents, Tom and Vera Chesser of Arrowhead Ranch Estates; special aunt Rosemary Brown of Wichita Falls; grandmother Cathy Jessica Latoski; great-grandmother, Marion Chesser of Iowa Park; and great-grandmother, Joann Stokes of Cobble Hill, Canada.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 4, at Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park.
