Betty Jean Cantrell, 70, of Wichita Falls, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Western Heritage Christian Church in Dean with Bro. Nicky Johnson and Bro. Dave Strunk officiating. Burial will be in the Charlie Cemetery under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Mrs. Cantrell was born Nov. 7, 1942 in Big Springs to Joe Aubrey and Dura Maurice (Ainsworth) Green. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Snyder. Betty worked as a homebuilder, and was a teacher at the prison. She was an excellent seamstress, and enjoyed being with her family.

Survivors include husband Dale Cantrell of Wichita Falls; four children, Vickie Young and husband Joe of Charlie, Gary Jones and wife Regina of Daisy, Ark., Shaun Cantrell and wife Crystal of Brazos, and Shantel Cantrell of Weatherford; a sister, Jane Cooper of Colorado City; a brother, Joe Weldon Green of Lake Tawakani; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 1 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
