T.R. ‘Bud’ Brixey of Iowa Park


T.R. “Bud” Brixey, 82, of Iowa Park, passed away on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013.

Mr. Brixey was born June 6, 1930 in Clay County to Ralph Lee and Addie (Watts) Brixey. He married Louise (Marchvanks) Tennant on Jan. 21, 2012 in Kamay. He retired after 30 years of services with Longhorn Truck and Trailer as the truck parts manager. He was a member of the Kamay Baptist Church, where he served as deacon.

Mr. Brixey is preceded in death by a wife, Annella Brixey and one sister, Alta Lee Eastlake.

Survivors include wife Louise Brixey of Kamay; one daughter, Lee Ann Beall and husband Charles of Ada, Okla.; three sons, John Brixey and wife Cathy of Fredrick, S.D., James Brixey and wife Debbie of Kamay, and Jeryl Brixey and wife Kristi of Lewisville; one step-daughter, Jan Horton and husband Bennie of Bella Vista, Ark.; fourteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.

The family will be at Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 7-8:30 p.m.
